-Why do so many "original" students not have the same material in Jun Fan?

It has been told to me that what one(Chinatown) school may have learned, the other (LA) for example, may have learned something else. Many of the "original" students of these different schools had different methods of training.This was what Bruce had wanted. Dan Inosanto had taught 90-95% of the classes at the Chinatown school and has a thick folder of material and only maybe 1/3-1/4 of that is what Bruce Lee had him teach. This is why there are so many who do not have the same material and claim to know the art. The only legitimate line of instructors back to Bruce Lee is through the Inosanto lineage. I am proud to be an Instructor in both Jun Fan Gung Fu and Jeet Kune Do under Sifu Larry Hartsell , one of Bruce Lee's personal students who continued training with Guro Dan Inosanto over the decades.

-What is the dress code for the classes?

The Kalsadapo class uses the traditional uniform with tennis shoes. The Jeet Kune Do uniform is the academy T-shirt and either karate uniform pants or sweatpants with tennis shoes.

Well, there is an easy way to tell who is an official JKD instructor in Indiana. Look at our official Indiana Instructor List and make sure your prospective instructor is listed. If you can't come to our classes here because you live in another part of the state, we can help you get in touch with another instructor in another part of the state.
